The Coatings and Colorants business unit of Degussa has announced a restructuring of its sales department for the U.S. market. There are three main components to the new sales organization. The first is that selected accounts will be able to contact a single salesperson with responsibility for all three business lines (colorants, resins and crosslinkers). Second, the colorant sales region has been consolidated and now includes east and west, handled by John Kehmna and Dale Baker respectively, while the resins and crosslinkers sales forces has been bolstered with additional staff and the establishment of a field management position, occupied by Chuck Hays.
All sales employees will receive business and technical training in each of the three business lines, according to Degussa.
